This was some of the freshest tasting salmon I’ve ever had! Comparable to high end sushi restaurants. I tried it both raw (sashimi style) and cooked and both ways were delicious. My husband doesn’t usually like salmon sashimi and even he thought it was delicious! Will definitely repurchase!

Best salmon Ive eaten

This was my first time ordering from Riviera. The Bakkafrost Salmon, as advertised on their website, was buttery, rich and firm. The texture was silky and the scent and flavor of the meat was clean and mild with subtle notes of cucumber, ocean, and butter. This was absolutely the freshest most delicious salmon Ive eaten. We cut it up and ate it raw/sashimi style. So good, it didn’t even need soy sauce. The fish was delivered exactly when they said it would be and was still frozen rock solid packed in dry ice when it arrived. We stored in our freezer for two days then thawed in the fridge overnight where it thawed perfectly for eating raw the next day. This was well worth the extra money spent vs local fish store. We will definitely be ordering more!

Bakkafrost Salmon filet

It was smaller than I anticipated and it didn't taste as good as the one I ordered last month. I am not sure what happened, but I think I will get it from Bakkafrost company next time. Thanks for letting me try it out.

The Best Fish!

I love the salmon, hamachi and toro. The best to make sashimi and sushi at home.
