    Storage

    Store in conventional freezer, for best results and to reduce chance of oxidization (color change) please consume immediately or within 1-2 weeks.

    Do not refreeze. Pro Tip: Use your leftover or thawed uni for a creamy pasta sauce!

    Defrosting

    Defrost in controlled refrigerated temperature (28-32 degrees fahrenheit) for 6-12 hours or until texture reaches your desired preference.

    Pro Tip: Place near the back of the refrigerator so temperature remains more controlled despite repeated opening/closing of the refrigerator door.

    All orders of Wild-Caught Uni (Sea Urchin) are individually packaged and shipped using express overnight delivery. Each 100 gram tray packs 10-15 tongues are hand-caught by divers off the Pacific from Canada, California and Mexico and delivered to your table. Uni is an extremely delicate seafood. In order to guarantee our freshness, each shipment is packaged securely to maintain proper temperatures.     Although superfrozen seafood is extremely convenient for many of our customers, some people still prefer fresh seafood.

    Note: "Fresh (never frozen)" seafood needs to be consumed as soon as possible. Do not re-freeze seafood as this will ruin the integrity of the fish.

    Two trays. They arrived frozen and dark-colored but quickly defrosted in the fridge and became normal-colored.One tray was more watery than the other, but both were super sweet and very good. I will buy again.
