Kampachi Filets

The flavor was very good which is the most important. I was a little let down by the oxidation that happens with being frozen and thawed. I will be buying again though. Thank you Riviera!

Great value!

Excellent value, and getting the entire fillet allows you to prepare it exactly how you want. I use the skin for all sorts of fun crunchy applications, and the bone to add complexity to a dashi or other soup/stock. Love it!

Very tasty

This is delicious yellowtail for sushi! I'm glad I tried it. It's a large piece but mine was thin on the edges. I sliced it so I had one thicker section, and fileted that no problem. There was one ridge of bones, but I sliced around them ok. There was one small thin section left over that I didn't want to try to cut the skin off, so I popped it in the toaster oven broiler and it was delicious. The sushi fish was also delicious. Great value, just a bit more work involved in prep.

Fresh and Delicious

Kampachi is a delicious sushi fish. We ordered a filet, it arrived frozen as promised, and after thawing, it was absolutely delicious. It’s hard to find this fish, but RSC does it right!
