Honey Garlic Salmon Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • Sliced lemon, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the honey garlic mixture evenly over each fillet, reserving some for later.
  4. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the salmon fillets, ensuring they adhere to the glaze.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your desired level of doneness. The salmon should be flaky and opaque in the center.
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven and brush it with the remaining honey garlic glaze.
  7. Garnish the salmon with sliced lemon and chopped fresh parsley, if desired, for added freshness and visual appeal.
  8. Serve the honey garlic salmon hot, accompanied by your choice of sides such as steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a crisp salad.
