      Thought it was fresh grated. Not spicy enough, do not like food coloring and artificial etc ingredients.

      Makes a big difference

      Wasabi is a key ingredient in home made sushi. Better wasabi is better sushi. This is so much more flavorful than what you can buy at a store.

      Don't ever buy powder wasabi again!

      The grated wasabi is great. For $12.99, you get 7 oz in frozen form. That is a lot of wasabi compared to the powder or tube type that you can buy from Japanese market; and it tastes as close as what you can back get in Japan. Another plus, it comes in handy because you can breakout the package in small portions for use and freeze the remaining for future use.
