Lack of quality control on my order
Of the fish sampler I ordered the Chu-toro was oxidized and had an obvious metallic taste especially on the finish. The akami was similar but didn’t taste as metallic. There are no dates on any of the packages. I defrosted per the directions in the fridge and consumed the fish immediately once fully defrosted. Very disappointed with the quality of the order especially given the price point. I emailed customer service without a response as well. I will report and review on my social media platforms if this order is not rectified some how.
Subpar quality is never acceptable at RSC! This feedback was given to our quality and products team for review, remedies with customer have been pursued privately.

Wow, great meal! Thoroughly enjoyed this mix. I cannot eat local store bought tuna anymore; it just isn’t as good. Frozen is very convenient, just defrost when needed. I do defrost in ice water bath for an hour instead of the 30 minute suggestion. This works well for me.

Loved the seafood mix for sushi. It was fresh and delicious. I will definitely order fish again from here.
